May 2026 – Bond Measure, Continued

Following the second survey, City staff presented to Council on May 16 a continuing recommendation to pursue the $300M bond measure. The amounts allocated for the Maudelle Shirek Building/Old City Hall and the Veterans Building in the project list had been reduced to $3.6M and $1.8M respectively, the minimum needed for a 25% match of an applied-for FEMA grant for seismic work.
